Born in Sarnico, Italy, in 1953.

Degree (Laurea) in Architecture, with honors, University of Florence, Preservation and Restoration of Architectural Heritage.
Diploma, Mechanical Tech Industry. Course on the Technical Aspects of Lighting, held by Advanced Lighting Tecnology-Targetti Sankey.
Course on Energy Certification, held by the Association of Architects, Florence.
Listed in the register of technical consultants for Florence’s Court of Law.

From 1973 to 1980, in product development office for Polistil S.p.A., one of the most important internationally-renowned toy industries at that time .
Since 1980, freelance designer.

Active in the sectors of industry and architecture, instructor of industrial design at various levels, including courses towards a Master of Design degree.

Lecturer at numerous conferences and symposiums in Italy

Collaboration as designer, art director, and/or consultant with over fifty different industries dealing in the following types of merchandise: toys, stationery, lighting fixtures, accessories for automobiles and motorcycles, housewares, sunglasses, fashion accessories, products in silver, electrical appliances, and computer accessories. Involved in all levels of product design: conception, stylistic research, realization of prototypes, executive design (technical drawings), engineering, aspects regarding regulations and industrial property. Years of experience designing with different materials and using various technologies, specializing in plastics, casting metals, and related moulding techniques, especially injection moulding and pressure die-casting.
